COVID-19 updates: Doctor's Traumatic Experience While Burying His Friend
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many heart-wrenching incidents across the world and even in India too. In one such sad and heartwarming incident a doctor from Chennai had to bury his collegue who succumbed to the virus treating the patients.
Going into details, Dr. Pradeep Kumar who hails from Chennai went through a traumatic experience while burying his friend Dr. Simon Hercules who was a neurosurgeon at midnight.
With the locals not allowing them to bury the doctor, Pradeep had to bury him with his bare hands at a crematorium with two hospital boys helping Pradeep in burying Simon.
"I have been crying for the whole day. I don't know how many people have experienced burying someone. I have seen death in my hands but I have never buried anyone, let alone someone who was close to me," Pradeep said.
"It was very difficult, he [Dr. Hercules] was such a gentleman and a kind-hearted doctor. No one could have ever hated him," Pradeep added.
