Update: 2017-09-10 07:25 GMT
Former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram dared to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi whether he have the courage to accept the failure of Demonetisation. 'You doesn't need courage to make a wrong decision but to accept that you made a wrong decision. GDP Growth dropped by 1.4 percent because of the note ban,' he told.

According to P Chidambaram, Around 1.4 lakh jobs have been lost and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) got wiped out post demonetisation. Not enough jobs were created though 1.2 crore people are joining workforce every year.

Chidambaram points out sacking of Union Ministers for MSME & Skill Development during the recent cabinet reshuffle is a clear sign that Skill Development & Employment Creation has failed. He opined Labour Minister was sacked after the failure of Labour Policies. 'It's like indirectly accepting Government's failures. Youth are paying the price for the wrong policies of the Centre,' he criticizes.
