A serious syndrome has hit the New York city as fifteen children in the city who were positive for the COVID 19 were hospitalized. The situation turned even scarier as the doctors are unable to understand the situation.
Children aging from 2 to 15 displayed the symptoms of syndrome which is associated with inflammation of the blood vessels that includes coronary arteries. Doctors have termed the syndrome as a mysterious syndrome.
The authorities in New York are looking at whether children in the other cities of the United States also faced the similar kind of illness. The only good news is that no children have lost their lives to the syndrome.
"There are some recent rare descriptions of children in some European countries that have had this inflammatory syndrome, which is similar to the Kawasaki syndrome, but it seems to be very rare," Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, a World Health Organization scientist said about the syndrome.
