China's Military Operation targeting India

Update: 2017-08-06 09:40 GMT
As per an article published in Government's official daily Global Times, China is all set to carry out a small-scale military operation to expel Indian troops from the Doklam area in a span of 2 weeks.

The article in the daily run by the Communist Party of China read: 'China won't be allowing the military standoff between China and India in Doklam to last for too long. There may be a small-scale military operation to expel Indian troops within two weeks'.

Global Times informed China will inform the Indian Foreign Ministry before launching the operation. Quoting Hu Zhiyong, who is into research at the Institute of International Relations of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, told India will have to bear all the consequences for incursion into the Chinese Territory.

Officials representing Indian Government downplayed the threat of military operation from China. They maintained war isn't the option to find solution and issues can only be resolved with dialogue. 'It's better if we don't respond on such provocative articles in Chinese Media,' says an Indian Diplomat.
