Pawan Speaks - Leaders Leave

Update: 2019-10-03 06:52 GMT
Pawan Kalyan may be making one fiery statement after another about continuing in politics and raising questions against those in power. (It is another matter that he only raises questions and never bothers to answer them.) But, under his very nose, one important leader after another is leaving the party for good.  Already several leaders have left the party and many more are waiting for the right moment to leave the party.

The latest leader to leave Jana Sena is senior leader and chairman of Government programmes monitoring Committee Chintala Partha Sarathi. He has contested for the Anakapally MP seat and secured barely 6.67 per cent.  Since the results were out, Sarathy has been keeping a very low profile and has not been attending any programmes. He is said to be deeply upset by Pawan Kalyan's leadership. On Wednesday, he sent his resignation letter to Pawan Kalyan.

It is not clear what his next move is. Sarathy has not yet spelt out which party he is going to join. He, however, said that many more leaders are queuing up to leave the party at the earliest given opportunity. Meanwhile, in another development, Krishna district Jana Sena convener Paladugu David Raju has joined the BJP in the presence of AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana. Another leader Pasupuleti Sudhakar of Kavali too has joined the BJP.
