Chinthamaneni Arrested For 4th Time In Jail

After the formation of the YSRC Government, TDP Leader Chintamaneni Prabhakar went underground to avoid arrest in connection with multiple cases booked against him. The Ex-MLA was at last taken into custody by the police at his residence few weeks ago when he went to see his Wife who is unwell. Following his arrest, Chintamaneni was sent to remand and he kept facing arrest in the jail itself because of around 50 cases filed against him under various sections.

In the case related to attack on Former Minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar, Chintamaneni Prabhakar wasn't only convicted but also awarded 2 years jail sentence. He, however, challenged the verdict of the lower court in the High Court.

Regarding other cases booked against him in the past 20 years, Cops have arrested him four times in the past one month. The Ex-MLA of Denduluru Constituency will remain in remand at least till October 9th. With the fourth arrest, Remand period may only get extended by few more weeks. Seems like, The next 5 years is going to be tough for the most controversial TDP Leader.
