Gorantla Madhav who worked as Kadiri Circle Inspector joined YSR Congress Party in the presence of YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday.
Madhav hails from Vemuru in Guntur District. He began his career as a Police Constable. The manner in which he responded in an attacking manner when Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy compared Cops to transgenders during the issue related to Prabhodananda Ashram fetched him good craze. Not only did he twirled his moustache in the presence of media, but also threatened to slash the tongue of TDP MP if he doesn't speak properly. That is when Madhav became quite famous in the Telugu States.
Speaking to media Today, Gorantla Madhav claimed to be happy with beginning his political career YSR Congress Party. He pledged to do whatever is required to strengthen YCP in Anantapur District.
In the upcoming elections, Madhav could contest on YCP Ticket in Anantapur District. It would be really interesting if he takes up the challenge to contest either from Tadipatri Assembly Constituency (against JC Prabhakar Reddy's Son) or Anantapur Parliament Segment (against JC Diwakar Reddy's Son).
