Researchers Develop Graphene Masks To Kill Coronavirus: A Study

Update: 2020-09-15 12:40 GMT
In the wake of the ongoing pandemic spreading its deadly wings across the globe and entered 213 nations globally, the researchers have developed a Graphene face mask to kill the virus.

The researchers at the City University of Hong Kong developed a graphene facemask that is believed to have 80 percent of anti-bacterial efficiency.

A study published in a scientific journal American Chemical Society stated that the efficiency of the facemask can go up to 100 percent if exposed to sunlight for 10 minutes.

It has been reported that the initial test reports of the graphene facemasks displayed promising results against the virus species.

However, the researchers have claimed that the efficiency in combating the novel Coronavirus is yet to be tested and after testing the masks will be released for public usage.
