Bellary Tuskers' captain CM Gautam and his teammate Abrar Qazi have been arrested by the city Central Crime Branch. Police said the two were involved in fixing in the KPL 2019 finals between Hubli Tigers and Bellary. Both Gautam and Kazi have previously played Ranji Trophy for Karnataka. They were allegedly paid Rs 20 lakh for slow batting in the finals, and also fixed another match which they played against the Bengaluru team in the KPL.
