CM Jagan Increases the Final Assistance to 10,000 for Fisherman

The Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy who has earlier said that his government will launch YSR Matsyakara Baharosa to benefit the fisherman has decided to extend the benefits of the scheme. With this, the fisherman, benefitting from the Rythu Bharosa, Vahana Mitra and pension schemes will also benefit from Matsyakara Bharosa too.

With the new scheme, the financial assistance for the fisherman will be increased from 4,000 to Rs 10,000.

Jagan who is in East Godawari tour has started the YSR Matsyakara Bharosa at Mummudivaram Mandalam in Komanapalli. He has laid the foundation for the Tourism Boating Control rooms in Komanapalli. With this scheme, almost 1.35 lakh fishermen will be benefitted. During the time of fishing, if any fisherman loses his life accidentally, their family will get Rs 10 lakh.

Jagan promised that Fish landing facilities will be provided in the nine coastal districts. Three new fishing harbors will also be started soon. The diesel discount will also be increased to Rs 9 per liter.
