Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has completed his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes and was held as part of the state development agenda.
The officials said the chief minister had reported to the prime minister on 17 issues, including assistance to be provided by the Center to the state, arrears to be paid, guarantees of state partition and so on.
Later, he will attend the Apex council meeting to be chaired by Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in which Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will also participate.
The meeting is organized by the Union Ministry of Water Energy to resolve water disputes under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. CM Jagan is accompanied by YSR Congress parliamentary party leader V Vijayasai Reddy, Lok Sabha party leader PV Mithunreddy, party whip Margani Bharat in the Lok Sabha, MPs Vallabhaneni Balashouri, Vemireddy Prabhakarreddy and Mopidevi Venkataramana.
