CM Jagan Wants to Hit Two Birds With Ex-Minister's Arrest?

Update: 2022-05-10 08:06 GMT
In a shocking turn of events, senior Telugu Desam Party leader Narayana who held the Cabinet Minister post in the previous regime was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh Police earlier today. The former Minister was reportedly taken into custody by the cops at his residence in Hyderabad, he is being shifted to Chittor by the cops.

As many wonders why the ex-Minister who is staying away from active politics is arrested, it is believed that he was taken into custody in connection with the recent 10th question paper leakage issue. After multiple papers leaked, the opposition had breathed fire on the ruling party.

After the attack became intense, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had alleged that Telugu Desam Party leaders were behind the leakage and they planned this to bring a bad image to the government. He even said that the leakage was reported from the Narayana college.

Weeks after making sensational claims, the Andhra Pradesh government had reportedly arrested former Minister Narayana, who is the chairman of the Narayana chain of schools and colleges. His alleged arrest had increased the political heat across the Telugu states at once.

Looks like, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to prove two points here. One is that the Telugu Desam Party is behind this as the leakage was reported from a school that belongs to the former Telugu Desam Party Minister. If this gets proved, then it will be a setback to the government.

The second point here is that CM Jagan is facing severe criticism for not taking any action against the schools on the paper leakage even though he knows who was behind this and he named a few people. By arresting Narayana, Jagan had indirectly hit back at the critics on the paper leakage issue.

Looks like CM Jagan is in plans to hit two birds in a single shot by proving the TDP’s role in the much-talked-about paper leakage issue and answering the criticism he has been facing for not taking any action against the accused and speeding up the probe in the paper leakage issue?
