Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo, Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao, aka KCR has breathed fire on the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Farm Bills.
Talking about the bills, KCR opined that the farm bills brought by the Centre will do an injustice to the farmers and the TRS party will surely oppose the two bills.
KCR went on to say that the farmers will get adversely affected by the bills and the corporates would benefit from the bills and added that the TRS MPs will oppose the bills in the Parliament.
He termed the bills as sugar-coated pills and said that the bills should be opposed in the Upper house when the government tables the bill in the house.
On Thursday, when the Centre introduced the bills, Congress DMK, Left parties, including the oldest ally of BJP, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) severely opposed the bills.
However, two bills, The Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, and The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020' were passed in Lok Sabha.
