CM KCR Extends Support To Bharat Bandh!

Update: 2020-12-06 07:31 GMT
The farmers who are agitating against the controversial farm bills introduced by the union government took the protest to the next level by calling for a Bharat Bandh on the 8th of December.

Days ahead of the Bharat Bandh, TRS supremo and Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao extended his support for the Bharat Bandh. He even asked the party activists to take part in the bandh.

It has to be noted that, when the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the bills in Parliament, the TRS has opposed the three controversial agricultural bills.

KCR found fault with the three agricultural bills and said the bills are against the interests of the farmers. He urged the Union government to revoke the bills.

The gap between the ruling TRS and BJP widened further with the recently concluded GHMC elections. During PM Modi's visit to Hyderabad to monitor vaccine development in Bharat Biotech, PMO is said to have asked CM KCR to not come to receive him at the airport.

With Chief Minister supporting the Bharat Bandh, looks like the bandh will take place peacefully without any issues.
