Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao is pitching for a federal front in the national politics to bring qualitative change in the lives of Indians. In a fresh development, former CM of Chhattisgarh and Janata Congress chief Ajit Jogi has extended his support to KCR's front. He said that KCR's federal front is getting good response across the nation. He said KCR achieved popularity as a confident, decisive leader with a strong support of people. He predicted that federal front will show its strength in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and national parties like Congress and BJP will disappear. He said that future belongs to the federal front.
Ajit Jogi warned that regional parties have been patient with the domination of national parties all these years but if they try to suppress regional parties, they have to face the consequences. He said that regional parties are revolting because their state's benefits are at stake now. He said that Central government domination increased over the states and as a result governance is suffering in the states. He demanded that state should have complete rights over some aspects and if required, the constitution should be amended to give more rights to the states.
He said that state governments will have the understanding of the local conditions and culture of the people, and governance should be based on those things. He said that reservations and fixing minimum selling price to farmers should be in the state purview. He said that India is an agriculture-dependent country and farmers should get the right price for their crop. He accused the central government that they are worried that they lose the control if they give more rights to the states. He opined that regional parties started to fight for their rights now.
He alleged that BJP following dictatorship style rule.. and they are threatening the regional parties in the name of cases. He also said that in the name of religious politics, BJP is suppressing minorities. He said that all the regional parties are observing the developments and KCR's proactive step is a welcome development now. He said that KCR already met West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and discussed regarding federal front. He predicted that federal front will bring all the regional parties on to a single platform and defeat both Congress and BJP in 2019 elections.
He said that BJP is facing opposition in all the states is it ruling. He reminded that Shiv Sena, TDP came out of NDA.. and this shows BJP is losing its credibility. He said that BJP has no presence in Telangana, AP. When it comes to Tamil Nadu Anna DMK and DMK are strong, Shibu Soren party is strong in Jharkhand. He predicted that his party will win in the elections which are to be held in November.
