CM KCR mourns the death of Ex-Union Minister Ajit Singh, who passed away with Covid-19

In an unfortunate incident, Ex-Union Minister,  Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh breathed his last to novel Coronavirus on Thursday morning. He breathed his last at 82.

Ajit Singh's son Jayant Chaudhary announced the sad news of the demise of his father on social media. Taking to Twitter, the former Mathura Parliamentarian said, his father is no more.

"Chaudhary Ajit Singh ji was diagnosed as COVID positive on April 20. He battled his condition till the very end and breathed his last today morning on May 6," Jayant, tweeted today.

"We must observe all safety protocols to keep ourselves and everyone around us healthy and safe. This would be the best way to honour Chaudhary Sahib as well as all those COVID warriors who are working night and day to protect us. We pray for solace for all those families that have been ravaged by this brutal disease," he said in the note shared on Twitter.

After the news broke out, TRS chief, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao condoled the death of Chowdary Ajit Singh and remembered how he played a big role in the Telangana movement.

Walking down the memory lane,  KCR said, Mr. Singh had supported the Telangana movement and the process of bifurcation as well. Telangana people would never forget those who supported the Telangana movement, he said.

Along with the Chief Minister, Ministers like Koppula Eshwar, Gangula Kamalakar, and Indrakaran Reddy condoled the former Union Minister's death and conveyed their condolences to his family members.
