Update: 2018-10-20 07:40 GMT
Income Tax Raids exposed the fraudulent practices of TDP MP CM Ramesh to amass illegal wealth to the tune of Rs 100 crore. Although most of the Telugu News Channels offered negligible coverage to the financial irregularities, National Media House highlighted the corruption done the Rajya Sabha MP misusing the government contracts.

YCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy accused CM Ramesh of looting public money by manipulations, frauds and illegal means. Describing the TDP Leader as a big scamster, He pointed out: 'M/s Rithwik Projects Pvt Ltd was kept under blacklist during the earlier regime of TDP Govt. M/s Rithwik Projects Pvt Ltd were kept under the list of contractors deficiency report (CDR) till recently, after the TDP came into power in 2014, this firm is put out of CDR list. Rithwik Company was almost bankrupt before 2014. But without any tenders, the company has managed to get contracts worth around 3,658 crore in Sri Chandrababu Naidu present stint in Andhra Pradesh. The works include Handri-Neeva Srujala Sravanthi (HNSS), Galeru–Nagari Srujala Sravanthi (GNSS), Velugonda tunnel, and rehabilitation package works of Gandikota reservoir'.

Vijay Sai Reddy points out the vast difference in the two election affidavits filed by CM Ramesh for Rajya Sabha Elections. He adds, 'Assets of Rithwik Company increased by 145% within 2 years of TDP rule. CM Ramesh cannot deny the facts mentioned above. In case, he wishes to, then he should himself write to the authorities requesting for CBI or Judicial inquiry, which he will never do as he is a scamster'.

Strong buzz is doing rounds that CM Ramesh would be the first TDP Leader to go behind the bars. Investigative Agencies might take him into custody anytime soon.
