Power Politics in Karnataka has given an opportunity for Congress to attack BJP even more aggressively. The Tweet placed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi almost 7-years-ago when he was Gujarat Chief Minister was retweeted by Congress Today.
When BJP was in power in 2011, Then Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa resigned due to corruption charges. Subsequently, Governor issued orders recommending President's rule due to lack of stable government. Immediately, BJP Chief Ministers including Narendra Modi wrote a letter to President demanding recall of Karnataka Governor.
Now, Congress Party has been placing the same demand by retweeting Modi's Tweet which reads: 'Governor of Karnataka is bent upon destroying India's federal structure, Urged PM to request President to recall him'.
Karnataka Governor invited BJP to form the Government instead of Congress-JD (S) which have the majority. BS Yeddyurappa took part in the swearing-in ceremony by 9.30 am on Thursday. Congress and JD (S) has been describing these developments as unconstitutional.
