Interestingly, Ranadeep contested two elections in his capacity as the Communications Incharge and lost both very badly. On one occasion, he had even lost his security deposit. He wants to be relieved of at least one state. He is also planning to enter the Rajya Sabha from Gujarat.

Meanwhile, the party has to finalise the next national general secretary as a replacement to Jyotiraditya Scindia. Scindia had resigned from the party recently and has joined the BJP.
