Union Minister Arun Jaitley opined Congress Manifesto for 2019 Lok Sabha isn't only dangerous but also unimplementable. He expressed the fear that promises made by Congress will protect Terrorists and Maoists, leads to prosecution of the Armed Forces. 'The Manifesto of Congress is such that involvement in terror activities won't be a crime anymore. It's like breaking up the nation. Any party which does it don't deserve a single vote,' he said.
Jaitley was mentioning about the promise of Congress to review AFSFA (Armed Forces Special Powers Act) and Disturbed Areas Act in Jammu & Kashmir. Alleging Congress Party of taking a soft stand on terrorism, He recalled PV removing TADA introduced by Rajiv Gandhi and Manmohan Singh dissolving POTA. He says implementing the poll promises of Congress leads to rule of terrorists and insurgents.
Arun Jaitley recalled AP CM Chandrababu Naidu took an u-turn after accepting Special Package. He questioned, 'From where does Congress mobilise the funds for Special Status. Several other states including Odisha has been placing the same demand'.
Five Big Promises in Congress Manifesto: NYAY Scheme for curbing poverty, GST Makeover, Free Healthcare, Double Budget For Education and Generation of Jobs.
