Congress-mark Treatment For Kodandaram

Update: 2018-11-23 09:16 GMT
Kodandaram might have the expertise when it comes to political science taught in the Universities. In real life politics, Congress Party is making him realize that there is lot more to learn.

Telangana Jana Samithi paid the price for trusting Congress which led the Mahakutami. Though it accepted 8 Seats by the end of talks, TJS received a rude shock with Congress fielding candidates in four of its constituencies.

Congress got ready to contest in 99 out of 119 Assembly Constituencies. While TDP received 13, TJS and CPI were offered only 4 and 3 seats respectively.

A Special Strategy was followed by Congress High Command to nullify the threat from TJS/Rebels. Ahmed Patel and Khuntia succeeded in convincing TJS to withdraw nominations in 5 constituencies (Mahbubnagar, Chennuru, Miryalaguda, Medak and Aswaraopeta). Whereas, Congress had withdrawn its candidate only in Amberpet. Which means, Both TJS and Congress candidates are contesting in four segments (Warangal East, Dubbaka, Asifabad, Khanapur). Which means, TJS have only four segments (Vardannapeta, Amberpet, Malkajgiri and Siddipet) where it doesn't have to compete with any other party that's part of Mahakutami.

Sources say, Prof.Kodandaram was deeply hurt with what he received for being part of Mahakutami for a historic necessity. He, however, can't admit it openly as any negative comments at this stage hurts the poll prospects of Mahakutami badly. Let's see what Kodandaram does at Sonia Gandhi's public meeting in Medchal on Friday!
