Congress Party Speeding Up TPCC Selection Process!

Its been more than three weeks since the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) post fell vacant. The post fell vacant after the then TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy resigned to his post taking responsibility for GHMC election loss.

Since then, the Congress party has been working on the selection process to appoint the TPCC chief as soon as possible, to give a special boost for the cadre of the Telangana wing of the party.

Telangana All India Congress Committee(AICC) in-charge Manickam Tagore met the senior leaders of Telangana Congress and noted down the points and issues raised by them.

It has been widely reported that the selection process has reached the final stage and the Congress is aiming to appoint the new party chief very soon. If everything goes well, the new party chief will be appointed in January, next year.

Three leaders Revanth Reddy, Komtireddy Venkat Reddy, and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka who are said to be the aspirants of the TPCC post visited Delhi to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi for the final round of lobbying, reportedly.

It is also said that the Delhi leadership of Congress is also planning to see that the leaders who didn't get the TPCC post will not have any disputes with the newly appointed TPC chief. The other aspirants will be given appropriate posts.

On the other hand, the Delhi leadership of Congress is looking at reducing the posts in the Telangana wing of the Pradesh Congress Committee
