Congress Senior Leaders vs Rahul Gandhi Over Alleged Letter Written To Sonia Gandhi
The much-awaited Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting that was commenced after the alleged letter written by Senior Congress leaders created sensation took an interesting turn.
Some media reports claim that Congress leader, former party Chief Rahul Gandhi who took part in the meeting slammed the leaders who wrote the letter and alleged that BJP is behind this.
The reports even claimed that Rahul Gandhi alleged that Senior leaders of the party colluded with the ruling BJP party which irked the senior leaders. Senior leaders and Rahul Gandhi indulged in a war of words reportedly.
Following this, Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal hit back at Rahul Gandhi for his claims. The leader said in his 30 years of career, he never issued a statement in favour of BJP but Rahul Gandhi says, we colluded with BJP.
Looks like the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting added fuel to the ongoing disputes between the senior leaders and the party.
As per some media reports, Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and some senior leaders urged interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi to not resign from her post and continue to lead the party.
