Acid Attack On Victory Rally Injures 10 People

At least 10 Party Activists were injured after an acid like substance was thrown at a victory rally of Congress Candidate Inayatullah Khan in Karnataka.

Congress emerged on top in the Urban Local Body (ULB) Elections by winning 954 out of 2,709 seats. While BJP won 905 seats, JD (S) managed to win 364 seats. Independents were able to bag 195 seats. Congress-JD (S) Coalition Government succeeded in ensuring BJP doesn't have an upper hand.

Inayatullah Khan planned a victory rally after winning the seat allotted to him. Someone in the crowd sprayed acid-like substance on the Congress Workers during the procession. Suddenly, Around 10 people within the crowd felt the burning sensation and were rushed to the hospital. Doctors informed the liquid could be a low-intensity acid, similar to a bathroom cleaner. No arrests have been made so far in connection with this case.
