A Police Constable filed a defamation complaint against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly using a derogatory word while speaking about the cops.
Harvinder Singh, a constable posted at Gobind Puri Police Station, complained he was upset to know a Chief Minister has used the word 'thulla' for cops in an interview. On a query related to Anti-Corruption Branch, Kejriwal said a case will be filed against the Delhi police 'thulla' if they were caught seeking bribe from the street vendor.
In fact, A similar complaint has been filed by another constable at Lajpat agar Police Station. Even Delhi's Police Commissioner BS Bassi isn't happy with Kejriwal over the derogatory remark.
However, Deputy Commissioner Mandeep Singh says Kejriwal's remark comes under non-cognisable offense.
