The Coronavirus outbreak that was originated in Wuhan of China continues to spook the other nations too including the Dragan country. On top of all the concerns, likely the virus will also show an effect on the Holi celebrations likely.

We import around 20 percent of the sprinklers and water guns from China and more than 90 percent of Holi related water toys are also expected to get imported from the dragon country.

With the widespread of the virus, many areas and colonies in Hyderabad have reportedly decided to not participate in any Holi celebrations as most of the Holi related things are imported from China.

This has also shown a toll on the stock of the guns and sprinklers used during the celebrations of Holi. "Our consignments for which we placed orders in November have already reached India, what is taking time is the release of stock. However, our sales will not be hurt for 3-4 months if everything goes well," a Mumbai-based toy distributor said.

China holds a lion share out of the total toys that were sold in India with a whopping 85 percent. Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Germany, and Hong Kong grabbed the following next places.
