India reported 69,921 fresh Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and the total infections in the country 36,91,173. Fresh cases in India saw a dip when compared to the previous week.
As per the information provided by the Union Health Ministry, a total of 28,39,882 patients managed to recover from the virus so far. This translates to a recovery rate of 76.62 percent. The active cases stood at 7,85,996.
The total fatalities in connection with the respiratory disease pass surged 65,000- mark and rose to 65,288 with 819 patients breathing their last battling the virus in the last 24 hours.
Telangana reported 2734 fresh cases in the last 24 hours taking the toll of the total cases to 1,27,697. While 95162 patients managed to recover from the virus, active cases stood at 24598. So far 836 patients lost their lives.
Andhra Pradesh added 10,004 fresh Coronavirus cases on Monday which takes the count of the total cases in the state to 4,34,771. The recovered cases and active cases stood at 3,30,526 and 1,00,276 respectively. So far 3969 patients succumbed to the virus.
Looking at the global scenario, the ongoing pandemic left 25,622,351 patients infected with the virus, while over 17,922,835 patients have been recovered so far and 854,246 lost their lives to the disease.
