Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Centre stared a mission 'Vande Bharat Mission' with an aim to bring Indians back who were stranded in other nations and till now more than 14,000 Indians from various parts of the world were airlifted.
The second phase of the 'Vande Bharat Mission' will kick start from the 16th of May and the remaining Indians who enrolled themselves to step on the motherland will be brought back in this phase.
Recently 178 Indians were airlifted from Dubai on a special flight and the flight landed on Mangalore International airport in Karnataka and 20 of them were tested positive for the virus raising many fears and concerns.
As a result, the remaining Indians were also sent to quarantine accordingly by the authorities as a move to fight the spread of the virus. Keeping the situation in mind, the Health Department officials were taking all the safety measurements to cope up when more Indians were brought to India in the second phase.
