Andhra Pradesh once again faced the wrath of the spike in fresh Coronavirus infections. In the last 24 hours, the state reported more than 500 pandemic infections.
According to the information shared by the Health Ministry, 35,066 samples were tested in the span of 24 hours and not less than 585 new infections related to the respiratory disease were reported.
With the latest addition of the infections, the stateâs caseload has mounted to 8,95,121. So far 7197 people lost their lives due to the pandemic, including four people who breathed their last battling the deadly virus.
Looking at the recoveries, not less than 251 have recovered from the virus taking the total recoveries in the state to 884978. The active Covid-19 cases in the state stood at 2946.
The concerned officials were directed by the government to intensify the ongoing vaccination drive to a level that the vaccination process will reach to the village level too.
