Corporators Want To Teach A Lesson To MLA

Update: 2018-09-10 04:18 GMT
Jubilee Hills Boss and TRS nominee for the constituency Maganti Gopinath is in trouble. All the seven corporators in his constituency are dead opposed to him and are planning to ensure his defeat at the elections.

Of the seven corporators in Jubilee Hills, two are from the MIM and one is not sure how these people vote. The remaining five are TRS corporators. Normally, Maganti Gopinath should have an easy cruise through at the hustings. But, Gopinath is not on good terms with even one corporator. He is at loggerheads with constituency incharge Muralidhar Goud. In fact as a TDP nominee during 2014 elections, Maganti Gopinath defeated Goud at the elections. A strange story of defection has ensured that both the rivals - Goud and Gopinath - are in the same party. Recently Goud and Gopinath had a huge public spat. Later, Gopinath had quarrels with the four other corporators too. None of these is on talking terms with Gopinath.

The rivalry is so much that during the Pragathi Nivedana Sabha at Kongarakalan, the MLA and the corporators worked at cross purposes and their differences came out into the open. With the TRS boss KCR renominating Gopinath, the five corporators are in non-cooperation mode. Gopinath is now frantically trying to mend fences with them, but they are determined to teach him a lesson. It is because of this that poll pundits say that one should never make enemies with one's allies. Gopinath is learning the lesson the hardest possible way.
