Couples tie the knot at Covid centre, donate sanitizers, face masks and medicines
The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has changed the way marriages and other functions are held. With the governments imposing restrictions, only restricted invitees are being allowed to attend the weddings and functions.
As a noble gesture, two couples tied the knot at a Covid centre and donated the money they had saved for their wedding to the Covid centre, where they got married.
The incident took place in Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. Two couples, Aniket Vyavahare and Aarti Shinde and Rajshri Kale and Janardan Kadam got married at the Sharadchandraji Aarogya Mandir Covid Centre.
Besides 37,000 money, the couple donated facemasks, sanitizers, PPR Kits, and other medicines to the Covid centre.
All the required measures were observed during the marriage. The couples said, they took the decision to cheer up the patients, who are undergoing treatment at the Covid centre as the world is dealing with the deadly pandemic.
