The Telangana High court has asked 6 MLAs to file a counter-petition. Earlier, contestants who participated in the elections have moved the High Court that MLA elections of some ruling party are not valid.

The High Court has served notices to Vikarabad MLA Metukuru Anand, Parigi MLA Mahesh Reddy, Janagama MLA Muttireddy Yadagiri Reddy, Kodangal MLA Patnam Narender Reddy, Warangal East MLA Nannapannei Narender, and Malkajgiri MLA Mainampalli Hanumantrao.

The next hearing will take place after four weeks.

The petitioners have claimed in the plea that a huge amount of money and gold was found from those MLAs at the time of the election campaign.

Congress MP, Revanth Reddy told the Court that IT officials have found Rs 51 lakh cash and an important dairy which comprises all the details of expenditure of more than Rs 6 crore and 50 lakhs.

Revanth also said that Narender Reddy has submitted details that he has spent only Rs 19 lakhs for elections. There is a petrol bunk in the name of Narender Reddy and a person having this license are ineligible to contest in the elections, added Revanth.

Revanth accused Narender of submitted the wrong information. It's prohibited to take foreign funds for elections and people who do this are ineligible to contest the elections. Narender mentioned in the affidavit that he got Rs 5 lakh as election funds. Revanth has requested the court to declare Narender as disqualified considering all these frauds of Narender.
