Covid-19 Cases In Telangana Reaches 47 : Etela Rajender

Telangana is witnessing more and more Covid-19 positive cases as the toll of the cases reaches 47 in the state so far. Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender confirmed the same and said that two more fresh cases were reported.

The Minister went on to say that a high committee was set-up in Telangana under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister KCR as the cases are increasing rapidly. The state possesses 22 medical colleges which will be helpful in this regard.

He went on to say that the private medical colleges came forward to lend their helping hand and the medical staff and the medical equipment and facilities will be used to treat the Covid-19 patients.

The government has reportedly opted to use government hospitals in the first phase and in the second phase, the government will be using the private hospitals which came forward to serve the people.

The equipment available at the private hospitals is as follows, 10,000 beds, 700 ICUs, 170-bed ventilators which will add great value to the existing equipment in the state. If the cases increase further, private hospitals will be used by the government.
