Covid Virus Sends Fear At Regular Intervals in India!

Update: 2022-05-04 09:46 GMT
In a shocking turn of events, India had once again seen a big jump in the single-day cases. Raising many doubts about the virus's spread and the possibility of another wave hitting the country, more than three thousand infections were reported in the country in the past 24 hours.

Earlier last month, India saw more than 2,000 people testing positive twice in a week. Surpassing the previous record, now more than 3,000 people have been declared positive for the virus. The festival season might be the reason behind this with people coming together to celebrate the festivals.

The official data mentioned by the Union Health Ministry says that, in the past 24 hours, as many as 3,205 people across the nation have contacted the virus and their infections were detected as part of the covid detection tests. As of now, as many as 4,30,88,118 people have been infected with the contagious disease since it entered the country.

Talking about the Covid casualties in the country, the deaths are inching towards the five and a half lakh mark with not less than 523,920 breathing their last fighting the virus so far. The list includes the 31 fresh cases that were recorded in the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, the major share of the Covid patients has managed to beat the virus with 4,25,44,689 patients including over 2,802 people who were declared cured in the past 24 hours. More than 93 percent of patients have beaten the virus and were declared cured of the virus.

While the cases are only being reported daily in small numbers compared to the previous waves, we cannot take the virus for granted. Even small mistakes might turn costly and we might end up facing disastrous situations.

The second wave can be cited as an example of this, after beating the virus during the first wave, many people have let their Covid mask down giving a chance to the Covid virus to spread its wings. If we don't learn from our mistakes and act fastly, then we might face similar situations. Now it is in our hands how we react now.
