CPI Narayana's predictions on AP Chief Justice Transfer Turning Out To Be True?

Communist Party of India(CPI) National Secretary K. Narayana made many heads turn by alleging that efforts are being made to remove the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh.

Statements from a veteran Communist leader added fuel to the rumors and reports that many leaders are lobbying at the Center level to see that the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh is removed.

Guess what, the Collegium of five Justices, including the Chief Justice of India(CJI) Sharad Arvind Bobde, is said to have met recently and decided to transfer Chief Justices of many High Courts reportedly.

The Chief Justices of Andhra Pradesh High Court, Telangana High Court, and five more High Courts are expected to get transferred very soon, reports claimed.

The High Courts of Telugu states are likely to get Chief Justices who are believed to be in the race of getting appointed as the Justices in the top court of the country, the Supreme Court.

Going by the reports, the Chief Justices of High Courts in both the Telugu states are going to be transferred, one and a half year after appointed as the Chief Justices of the respective High Courts.

Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari of the Madhya Pradesh High Court was appointed as the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court on October 7, last year.

Serving Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court Raghvendra Singh Chauhan was appointed in the post on the 23rd of June, 2019.
