Politicians and Intellectuals have been of the opinion that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu hasn't learnt any lessons from Telangana Statehood movement. Even Today, Babu faces criticism for developing Hyderabad alone and neglecting other parts of the state during his regime. Yet again, He is only focusing on how to place Amaravati on Global Map instead of decentralized development.
CPI State Secretary Ramakrishna warned Chandrababu Naidu not to give scope for another Separate Statehood Movement in AP by developing Amaravati alone. He asked AP Government to concentrate on backward districts as well.
Ramakrishna pointed out: 'Other than temporary Secretariat & Assembly, No other construction happened in the 34,000 acres obtained from farmers for AP Capital. Government sought Centre's nod for using 31,000 acres of forest land for Amaravati. It's not fair that additional 14,000 acres has been collected from farmers for projects such as ring road'.
