Cricketers fined for Female Guests in Hotel Room

Bangladesh Cricket Board has imposed a fine on two of its National Cricketers on grounds of indiscipline after they allowed female guests to enter their hotel rooms.

Batsman Sabbir Rahman and Pacer Al-Amin Hossain have been fined $15,000 each for serious off-field breach of discipline. This incident took place during the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 tourney. While Sabbir Rahman plays for Rajshahi Kings franchise, Al-Amin represents Barisal Bulls franchise. Due to the fine, They will end of 30 percent and 50 percent of their BPL Contract Money.

The Cricket Board even warned the two cricketers about the much bigger penalty if they repeat the same mistake. They were reminded the responsibility they have on their shoulders as cricketers representing the Nation at the highest level.

BPL is modeled on the line of cash-rich Indian Premiere League (IPL). As many as seven franchises are playing in the current Edition. It is now facing match fixing allegations and prompted the Board to suspend it for two years.
