Dangerous trend of linking Gods to specific region!

On the occasion of the Auspicious Sri Rama Navami festival, the day observed for the birthday of the Hindu God Lord Rama, the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam said that Lord Hanuma is born in Tirumala and Anjanadri hill was his birthplace.

Soon after the announcement was made, a section of people took to social media platforms and started claiming Hanuma as Seema Hanuma, God belongs to the Rayalaseema region, given the fact that Tirupati belongs to the seema region.

Not only this, a few people even started over associating themselves switch Hanuma after scientific evidence was found by the experts to prove that Lord Hanuma was born in Tirumala.

Linking Gods to a specific region is a dangerous trend, which is not appreciable. Even if Hanuma was born in Tirumala, that doesn't stop people from other regions and states from praying for him.

A leading newspaper in Telangana stooped so low and termed Lord Rama in Telangana's Bhadrachalam town as Telangana Ramanna, which is not appreciable for a newspaper that is supposed to tell people which is right and which is wrong.

Considering the fact that caste and religion are already creating issues in society, people linking gods to a particular region is a dangerous trend.
