David Warner Breaks Virat Kohli's IPL Record

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner broke Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli's record to become the fastest to 5000 runs in the IPL.

Warner achieved this milestone against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Warner has become the fourth batsmen to score more than 5000 runs in the league. Apparently, the SRH skipper is the first foreign player to complete 5000 runs in IPL.

He achieved the milestone in his 135th innings while Kohli had done it in 157 innings. The third in the list is Suresh Raina. He took 173 innngs to score 5000 IPL runs. He is followed by Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma (in 187 innings).
