Expressing concerns over the devastating situations in India in the wake of Coronavirus ringing danger bells, Australian destructive batsman David Warner, opened up on the horrifying scenes he witnessed in the country.

Calling the situation upset, the left-handed batsman who represents Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL said, watching the situations in India on the TV makes him worried, as people are facing issues over the oxygen.

David Warner appeared in the Australian breakfast radio show Fitzy and Wippa, hosted by Ryan Fitzgerald; Michael Wipfli; Sarah McGilvray.

He said, while going to and from the grounds, he saw people lining up to cremate their loved ones. Calling it upsetting, the left-hander said, he had sleepless nights seeing the situations in the countries.

Adding further, Warner said, it was a right decision to suspend IPL midway as the situations are turning problematic in India. He said the officials tried their level best to go ahead with the tournament, but they couldn't.

"But look, they did their best to try and put it (the IPL) on there and we know in India that everyone loves cricket, and half the population would do anything to put a smile on their face and just watch that," David Warner said.
