After a stunning victory in the general elections, the Aam Aadmi Party had formed the government in Punjab. Bhagwant Mann had sworn in as the Chief Minister a couple of days back. Days after his ceremony, the Chief Minister found himself in a controversy.

As Bhagwant Mann is a follower of celebrated revolutionary Bhagat Singh, he had placed a photograph of Bhagat Singh at his office and wore a yellow turban. However, this had run into a controversy with several doubts on the actual color of the turban worn by Singh had started.

The reason behind the controversy is that many authors and historians argue that there is no strong evidence to prove that Bhagat Singh wore a yellow turban.

A few family members also said the same that there is no proper evidence to prove the fact that Bhagat Singh had worn a yellow turban. Giving a reason to back the claim, the family members said that only a few pictures of Bhagat Singh were available and these pictures don't reveal any information.

Saying that it is imaginary that Bhagat Singh wore a yellow turban, a few people have asked the government to not create any issue out of the turban he wears.
