For the upcoming IPL season, Axar Patel landed in the financial capital Mumbai on the 28th of March and checked into the team hotel. At the time of his arrival, Axar Patel has tested negative for Covid.
However, he tested positive when he underwent the Covid test for the second time. Following this, he is observing isolation. He will join the Delhi Capitals only after testing negative in the Covid test.
As per the protocols, Axar Patel will isolate himself for 10 days at a special isolation center and the team doctor will monitor his health regularly. Only after testing negative for the deadly virus, he will be permitted to join the team.
