Raju, an ardent fan of NTR, who had come to Hyderabad from Warangal along with his friends and family to attend the audio launch of Baadshah at Ramanaidu Cine Village in Nanakramguda unfortunately lost his life due to the stampede.
The 22-year-old youth, a labourer, got engaged only last month and was about to tie the knot in two weeks.
Raju's friends recalled that unfortunate incident on Sunday. The bunch of friends waited since afternoon at the venue and once the gates were opened, everyone tried to rush inside at the same time leading to a stampede. The cops and bouncers present at the venue to control the crowd has made things even worse.
Raju's family is finding it difficult ever since the death of his father a year ago. The deceased used to bring his earnings and give them to his mother.
Responding to the promise from NTR and Bandla Ganesh on offering financial assistance, Raju's mother with teary-eyed said,"Whatever it might be, but I will not get back my son".
The words uttered by Raju's mother is a wake up call for the bigwigs in the Film industry. Let's hope they take a right decision in the near future.
