Delhi Liquor Scam Intensity Hits Andhra Pradesh Now!

The alleged liquor scam unearthed in the national capital Delhi is slowly spreading to other states too. Earlier multiple raids were conducted in a few locations including Telangana and a few people were arrested too. Even Telangana Chief Minister KCR's daughter Kavitha's name was also taken by the BJP leaders.

Now the issue reached Andhra Pradesh after the relative of a big leader was reportedly arrested by the investigating officers. Along with the kin, two others were also arrested after interrogating them. This development raised many eyeballs and people are saying that the liquor scam's intensity has hit Andhra Pradesh. The new arrests were believed to have happened today.

Going into details one P Sarath Chandra Reddy who is serving as the Director of Aurobindo Pharma was arrested by the ED authorities. Along with him, Vinay Babu of liquor company Pernod Ricard India was also arrested by the authorities reportedly in connection with the case. After a thorough interrogation, the arrests were made.

Sarath Chandra Reddy happens to be the brother of Rohit Reddy who is the Son-in-law of YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy. This is not a small thing as the relative of a serving Rajya Sabha member that too of a ruling party was arrested in the case.

Ever since the alleged scam was unearthed it has been said that many big names might have been involved in this from different places. The new arrests only add fuel to this opinion. The new arrests will surely increase the political heat in Andhra Pradesh and this would surely give a chance to the opposition Telugu Desam Party to target the YC.

It has to be mentioned here that the Delhi liquor scam already saw a few big names getting arrested. Even the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was also arrested in the case and is in jail. Later Hyderabadi businessman Boinapallay Abhishek Rao, Vijay Nair, and Sameer Mahendra were arrested.

The alleged scam deals with the irregularities alleged by the BJP. They say that the new liquor policy brought by the AAP government had a few loopholes and businessmen and big people from various places reportedly benefited from this.
