Vasundhara Choudhary, a 21-Year-Old Delhi University Student, has been elected as Sarpanch of a village in Rajasthan on Saturday.
3-Phase Panchayat Elections in Rajasthan concluded on Saturday. Villagers decided that no one should contest against Vasundhara paving way for unanimous election.
Vasundhara Choudhary is in her 3rd year of Pyschology in Gargi College in New Delhi. She feels being elected as a Sarpanch helps her do some social work in the village. She have plans to attain a masters degree in psychology or gender studies and bag a doctorate.
Reportedly, Vasundhara is second well-educated woman sarpanch in Rajasthan. 28-Year-Old Chhavi Rajawat who is a management graduate left a well-paid corporate job to be the sarpanch of Soda village in Ton district in 2010.
