Indian skipper Virat Kohli has won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Heroics of Australian opener Matthew Wade, 80 runs off 53 deliveries and Glenn Maxwell (54) steered the Aussies team to add 186 to the scoreboard for a loss of five wickets.

Indian spinner Washington Sundar has picked two wickets, while T. Natarajan and Shardul Thakur picked one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 187, India lost the early wicket of KL Rahul who was dismissed for a duck by Glenn Maxwell. Shikhar Dhawan too lost his wicket after scoring 28 runs.

Virat Kohli scored a quick 85 in just 61 deliveries. With no supports from other batsmen, India fell 12 runs short of the target. India managed to add 174 runs to the scoreboard.

Despite losing the last T20, India has won the T20 series with 2-1. Interestingly, Australia has won the ODI series with 2-1. Like how Australia won the last T20, India won the last ODI.
