Dhoni announces Test Retirement

In a shocking turn of event Indian Skipper MS Dhoni announced retirement for test cricket.The decision of Dhoni comes minutes after india managed to draw third test against Australia.

BCCI in its statement said that Dhoni chosoe to retire from test cricket as he wants to concentrate more on One days and T 20 matches.Virat Kohli will be the captain of the Indian Team for the Fourth and Final Test against australia.

Dhoni  led India to win two World Cup titles (2007 Twenty20 World Championships and the 2011 ODI World Cup) and he also played key role in India achieving No1 spot in tests.

However from few years he had been drawing flak for India’s poor run in overseas Tests.He si one of the most successful wicket keeper in tests.

Dhoni played 90 Tests for India, scoring 4,876 runs at an average of 38.09. He scored six centuries and 33 half-centuries. He led India in 60 Tests, in which India won 27 and lost 18 games.
