Indian ODI Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni paid rich tributes to People's President APJ Abdul Kalam who breathed his last couple of days ago.
Speaking to media, Dhoni said: "Abdul Kalam's like a living Legend for all of us. Came from a humble background, become the Supreme Commander of the Armed Force & First Citizen of the Country. We don't find better success story than this in India. He is the ideal/greatest role model for youngsters. We are blessed that we had seen him and at the same time its a sad day. He is definitely someone who always believed in working hard and I think that's his motto".
Former Indian skipper Saurav Gamguly too condoles the demise of APJ Abdul Kalam. He said Kalam's simplicity has touched everyone and this is one thing which brought him close to the people. He feels Kalam had the best death (while addressing the students at IIM Shillong) and his life is dedicated to students.
