Dhoni's Wife Reacts To Cricketer's Retirement Decision

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni bid goodbye to International Cricket on Saturday through an Instagram post."Thanks. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired," he captioned the post.

MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni reacted to the retirement announcement and shared pen down an emotional post for her hubby through her Instagram handle.

"You should be proud of what you have achieved. Congratulations on giving your best to the game," Sakshi wrote in her Instagram post. "I am proud of your accomplishments and the person you are! I am sure you must have held those tears to say goodbye to your passion," her post read.

Sakshi even quoted famous American poet, memoirist in her post and shared a quote and shared a popular quote of the civil rights activist.

Dhoni played his last International Cricket match during the 2019 ICC World Cup, where India locked horns with New Zealand. India lost to black caps and evicted from the tournament.

Critics regard the wicketkeeper as the most successful Indian captain. Under his captaincy, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup, 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophies.
