Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set for organic poultry farming. Dhoni will be farming famous black Kadaknath chickens at his organic poultry unit.
For this, the 39-year-old cricketer ordered 2000 Kadaknath chickens from tribal farmer Vinod Menda. The order will be delivered by December 15.
Kadaknath is a unique chicken breed and is found in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh. This chicken breed is known for its delicious taste, high protein and low cholesterol content. The bones, meat, blood and most of the organs of this particular breed is black.
